About Me
Lori Kloehn teaches English in the upper school at the Latin School of Chicago where she has worked for the past 22 years, helping students become stronger writers and readers. Both in the classroom and as a private tutor, Lori has taught students how to craft beautiful essays, develop awareness of their audiences, and hone their editing skills. In 2015, Lori was granted a sabbatical to study online learning, and she has developed ground-breaking blended-learning classes for Latin School. A recipient of a Masters in Writing from DePaul University, Lori has been published in English Journal and is working on a slowly-developing third draft of a young adult novel.
